The NIOS Class 12 Question Paper 2025 tables on this page carry every Senior Secondary subject code released for the April 2025 and October 2025 public examinations, arranged by subject with a direct PDF link and a matching solved paper request link. Papers are grouped into three tables below. The October 2025 table covers the most recent session and is the one most students land here for. The April 2025 table covers the earlier session of the same year, which is useful when you want two attempts of the same subject side by side. The third table lists the April 2025 vocational codes in the 600 series, which sit outside the academic stream and are often hard to trace on other sites.

Where a paper for a given code has not yet been added to the library, the row shows a request button instead of a download button. That is deliberate. The October 2025 papers are the closest available guide to what the next Senior Secondary paper will look like, because they were set under the current scheme and the current time table. Use the subject column to find your code, open the PDF, and keep it beside your notes while you revise. Codes such as 312, 313, 314, 317, 318, 319 and 320 carry set variants, so the paper you open may show Set A, B or C.

NIOS Class 12 Question Paper 2025 April Session Papers Sorted by Subject Code

April is the first of the two annual public examinations, and its papers matter for a specific reason. Reading the April paper and the October paper of the same subject back to back shows you which topics the board is willing to ask twice in a single year and which it rotates. That comparison is impossible with a single paper, and it is the main reason the April table is kept live here rather than archived.

Language codes in the 300 series, including 303, 304, 305, 307, 310, 343 and 344, print the paper in the concerned language. Sanskrit stream codes 345, 346, 347 and 348 follow the same rule. Open the PDF before you decide whether you can attempt the paper in that medium.

Vocational Subject Papers April 2025

Vocational codes in the 600 series are examined separately from the academic subjects and rarely appear in public question paper libraries at all. The seven papers below cover the computer, hospitality and yoga trades offered under the vocational stream.

How to Read a Senior Secondary Paper Before You Attempt It

Every NIOS paper prints its own instructions on the first page. Read them before you start solving, because they carry the information no guide can give you second hand: the total marks, the time allowed, the number of questions, and which sections carry internal choice. The instruction block differs from subject to subject and it changes across sessions, so treat the paper itself as the authority rather than any summary of it.

• Marks in the margin. The mark value printed against each question tells you how much the examiner expects. A one mark question wants one line. A long question wants structure.
• Internal choice. Several papers offer alternatives inside a section. Circle the ones you would pick before the clock starts so you do not lose minutes deciding mid paper.
• Set variants. Where a subject has Set A, Set B and Set C, the questions are shuffled rather than replaced. Solving one set covers most of the ground of the others.
• Language of the paper. Bilingual papers print the Hindi version below the English one. Check which column you are reading before you answer.

A Working Method for Solving Past Papers

Downloading a paper is not the same as using it. The method below is the one used by students who move from a bare pass to a comfortable score, and it costs nothing but discipline.

1. Solve closed book and timed. Sit the paper in one unbroken stretch with the time limit printed on the front page. An untimed attempt tells you almost nothing about how you will perform on the day.
2. Mark it honestly. Compare your answer against the solved paper and give yourself the marks an examiner would give, not the marks you feel you deserve.
3. Log the reason, not the score. Write down why each mark was lost. Concept not known, step skipped, diagram unlabelled and ran out of time are four different problems with four different fixes.
4. Rewrite the weakest answer. Take the single answer that lost the most marks and write it again properly. Rewriting one answer well teaches more than reading five.
5. Repeat with the other session. Once the October paper is done, sit the April paper of the same subject and see whether the same category of error appears again.

Practically, the assignment and the question paper reward the same habit. Both are marked on whether your answer addresses the question asked, in the length the marks indicate, with the working shown. Writing your assignment in full answer form rather than in notes is the cheapest rehearsal for the examination hall you will get.

Mistakes That Cost Marks in the Senior Secondary Examination

• Answering the topic instead of the question. A question that says compare wants two things weighed against each other, not two paragraphs of description.
• Ignoring the mark value. Writing a page for a two mark question steals time from the questions that actually carry weight.
• Unlabelled diagrams. In the science and geography papers the labels carry the marks. A neat unlabelled diagram scores close to nothing.
• Skipping the working. Mathematics and accountancy award step marks. A wrong final figure with correct working still earns marks. A bare answer earns none.
• Leaving questions blank. An attempted answer can score. A blank space cannot.
